A Proud History

Founded by Reynolds Zilm in 1938, the Mays family became involved when Carl Mays joined the Cleveland-based Reynolds Machinery in 1969. By 1979, he purchased the company and moved headquarters to Dayton.

In 1992, Carl, with sons Scott and Steve, built a new facility featuring a machinery showroom and space for training and educational seminars.

Scott and Steve continue the strong commitment to personalized service that has been the hallmark of the company since its beginning.

It is no accident Reynolds Machinery has been in business since 1938. Our company was built on a foundation of professionalism, integrity and friendliness and we continue to build on those ideals today. We treat people the way we like to be treated.
