Saddle-Type
Hydraulic Grinder
Okamoto's bread and butter are the saddle-type surface grinders. These small to mid-sized grinders are available with four unique operator controls. The ST models use a simple control for setting downfeed increment and spark-out. The DX models offer a simple MDI controller for setting removal amount, rough and fine downfeed increment and spark-out. The EXB models incorporate the DX features plus auto-dressing and compensation, shift-plunge grinding, chuck datum reference and three surface set-up. The DXNC models use a two-axis Fanuc CNC control with easy-to-use conversational programming or G-code programming.
