Reynolds Machinery has an immediate opening for a Field Service Technician

Reynolds Machinery has an immediate opening for a Field Service Technician located in southwest, central, or northeast Ohio. The Field Service Technician’s primary responsibility will be to travel to customer sites throughout Ohio to service and repair a wide range of CNC machining centers, turning centers and grinders.

Duties include:

	Service, repair and install machine tools such as CNC machining centers, turning centers and grinders
	Analyze and accurately diagnose machine problems and make recommendations to solve them under time and budget constraints
	Set up new machinery and install options such as high pressure coolant systems, part probes, rotary tables, etc.
	Customer training of basic start-up operations and maintenance

 

Requirements:

	Minimum of five years in a machine tool Field Service Technician or repair position with an end user, distributor or builder of CNC machine tools
	Experience repairing CNC controls such as Fanuc, Hurco, Yaskawa, etc.
	Strong electronic and mechanical aptitude
	Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
	Proficient in Windows operating system, DOS helpful
	Must be a self starter and highly motivated
	Must possess the ability to effectively communicate technical service information to customers
	Must possess strong customer service skills, be able to adjust to customer requirements, & have effective communication skills, written & oral
	Address small groups, provide training and solve problems
	Must be willing to travel five or six days of the week with occasional overtime
	Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license – verification of driving record required
